Coarse Screen

Coarse screen including automatic bar screen raking systems are designed for a wide range of applications where highly effective cleaning is necessary, including power stations (nuclear, fossil and hydro), flood defense, storm drainage pumping stations and industrial pumping stations. The simplicity of their design and efficient debris handling make tthem an ideal solution for cost-effective screening of water and wastewater.
Brackett Bosker® Automatic Raking Screen
Designed for use in a wide range of industries, the Brackett Bosker® Automatic Raking Screen is ideal for low cost cleaning of single or multiple bar screens
Brackett Bosker® Bandit Automatic Trashrake Technology
For small and remote areas, or for intakes that rely on manual cleaning methods, the Brackett Bosker® Bandit automatic trash rake is ideal. Compact, with an extendable, rotating, hydraulic arm designed to clear debris from horizontal and vertical screens with bar spacing of 12mm up to 200mm, it allows for a safe workload capacity of 250 kg (550 lb). The equipment can easily be retrofitted to existing intakes. There are no submerged moving parts so maintenance costs are low.
Brackett Green® Cable Hauled Raking Screen
With a standard lifting capacity of 500Kg and the ability to clean screens up to 5m deep, in channels between 10m and 30m wide, the Brackett Green® Cable Hauled Raking Screen is ideal for large capacity coarse screens. The raking machine is deck-mounted and incorporates lifting and pivoting drive units, which operate the rake, skip carriage. The raking machine is capable of servicing many bar screens or it can be dedicated to cleaning just one. Operation can be manual, semi or fully automatic.
Brackett Green® Continuous Chain Raked Bar Screen
Brackett Green® continuous chain raked bar screens provide continuous front-raking of vertical screen grids via horizontal raking beams, fitted with teeth.
Brackett Green® Fixed Bar Screens
The Brackett Green® fixed bar screen's supporting structure is attached to the civil works and can be utilized as either a permanent or temporary solution to meet specific plant conditions, whether it's an influx of process water due to seasonal storms or screening a channel with low debris levels. The screen bars can be spaced between 10mm to 300mm (1/2" to 12") apart and are designed to withstand varying differential heads.
Brackett Green® Static Screen
Brackett Green® static screens are used in a variety of applications and industries due to their simple, yet efficient design. The framed wire mesh structure includes a debris pan on the lower cross member. Mesh size, screen size and construction material is customized to meet specific plant criteria. The screens can be temporarily lowered into a channel to continue screening while upstream screens are being cleaned or they can become permanent fixtures for existing or new plants.
